As most everyone in this part of the country already knows, major storms yesterday took a substantial toll. Right here around Fayetteville NC, not more than 10 miles from where we live, homes were destroyed.
Personally, we dealt with heavy winds, plenty of rain, and a brief power outage. Nothing but annoyances in the grand scheme of things.
Those affected by the storm remain in our prayers.
RALEIGH, N.C. – A devastating storm that spawned tornadoes, flash floods and hail as big as softballs has claimed at least 45 lives across the U.S. while roaring through the South and gaining steam in North Carolina and Virginia.
